ISHIDA Vulnerability Policy
In order to ensure that customers can use our products with peace of mind, ISHIDA collects vulnerability information related to our products, conducts impact investigations and risk assessments, and, if a vulnerability is confirmed, appropriately discloses the information and countermeasures.
Providing Products and Services with Security in Mind
Prioritizing the safety and peace of mind of our customers, we strive to provide products designed with security in mind.
We implement security measures against cyberattacks throughout the entire lifecycle of planning, development, operation/maintenance, and disposal.
We conduct threat analysis and risk assessment on information assets, implementing measures to minimize risk.
In addition, we evaluate risks arising from vulnerabilities across the entire supply chain, implement countermeasures in cooperation with our business partners, and ensure safety through continuous improvement.
Product and Service Security Incident Response
In the unlikely event that a security incident due to a cyberattack occurs in our products, we will promptly establish a response structure, report internally and externally, disclose information, and strive to investigate the cause and prevent recurrence.
We will respond by utilizing the ISHIDA PSIRT structure.
Providing Information on Product and Service Security
Information for customers regarding vulnerability response and security incident response will be provided by disclosing vulnerability information and countermeasures at appropriate times. If there is a possibility that specific customers may be affected, we will contact them individually through our sales representatives or other channels.
Furthermore, maintaining the security level is achieved when customers appropriately use our products that have undergone proper security measures. We provide security alerts and information for using our products while ensuring security.
ISHIDA PSIRT
The Ishida Product Security Incident Response Team (ISHIDA PSIRT) is an organization that responds to vulnerabilities discovered in our products.
Duty
We have established a product security risk management system to reduce the security risks of our products provided to customers.
At Ishida PSIRT, we establish a system to appropriately manage vulnerability information received from related organizations and customers within Ishida, and take prompt action regarding product security.
