Adoption and Revision of Compliance Program
Ishida shall formulate, implement, maintain, and continuously improve our compliance program in conformity with industry guidelines and JIS Standard JIS Q15001, "Requirement for a compliance program to protect personal information." This initiative shall address the appropriate collection, use, disclosure, sharing, and management of personal information.

Collection of personal information
Ishida may collect your personal information as necessary in the course of providing products, services, or after-purchase services, or when collecting and providing information in relation to its product development efforts.
Use of personal information
Ishida may use the personal information collected from you within the limited range of use necessary for the original purpose. In addition, Ishida may share this personal information with affiliates or consign the safekeeping of this personal information to a third party in order to provide better service to customers. When such information is consigned to a third party, we shall ensure this information is protected by selecting an appropriate contractor and entering into the necessary agreements to ensure the contractor manages the information appropriately.
Sharing of personal information
Before sharing your personal information within the Ishida Group, Ishida shall give notice of its intention or issue an announcement on the Ishida website concerning the reason the information is being shared and the scope and nature of the information to be shared.
Disclosure of personal information to a third party
Ishida shall not disclose your personal information to a third party without your consent, except when sharing the information within the group or disclosing information to a specific subcontractor. However, we may disclose your personal information if compelled to do so by law, if so required to protect human life or property, or if so requested to cooperate with a law enforcement organization, court of justice, or other public institution.
Procedure for disclosing personal information
Ishida shall disclose your personal information to you on your request and without delay unless doing so would significantly affect our operations or impair personal life, human health, property, or other rights. If you request a correction, addition, or deletion of all or part of your personal information, or if you wish to withdraw your permission to allow us to use your personal information, Ishida shall accommodate your request without delay. Specifically, we shall take necessary measures responsibly when so required by the circumstances.
Security of Personal Information
Ishida shall develop a management system and shall implement adequate security measures to protect personal information from unauthorized access, loss, destruction, falsification, or disclosure, thus ensuring the accuracy and security of the information.
Compliance with Laws and Regulations on Protection of Personal Information
In handling personal information, Ishida shall comply with all laws and regulations applicable to the protection of relevant personal information. In addition, we shall ensure that our compliance program for the protection of personal information is in accord with these laws and regulations.
