Salt sticks, bread sticks

The Ishida sticks solution combines the unrivalled speed and accuracy of an Ishida multihead weigher with modifications based on the company's many years of experience in weighing high production volumes of salt sticks.

Specially shaped feeder troughs help contain and direct the sticks, while funnel eases the transition from trough to hopper. A special array, built into the discharge chute just underneath the weigh hoppers, holds and then releases the sticks from each hopper.

At the other end of the chute, twin irises or twin shutters further reduce the fall distance and compact the weighment on its path into the bagmaker.

Taken together, these measures can reduce breakages by 30% compared with linear weighers.
