Propak Asia 2010 in Thailand

Ishida Thailand participated in Propak Asia, which is the largest packaging exhibition in South East Asia held in June 16 - 19 at BITEC, Bangkok.
We exhibited whole weighing, packaging and inspection system as a total solution provider. The most attractive system was CCW-R-218WB oval type multihead weigher and ASTRO-S and ATLAS twin system. This weigher was designed to fit twin bagmakers, lots of visitors were drawn to this latest system.

Vietfish, one of the largest seafood shows in Vietnam

Ishida Vietnam office joined Vietnam Fisheries International Exhibition (VIETFISH) held in SECC, Ho Chi Minh city, Veitnam in June 12 - 14, 2010. Vietfish is one of the largest seafood shows in ASEAN region.
Ishida exhibited X-ray inspection system and Metal detector to show Ishida's unique in-line inspection and sorting technologies for fisheries, and they attracted over a hundred visitors in three days.

Korea Pack 2010

Ishida and Ishida Korea participated in Korea Pack, the largest packaging exhibition in Korea, which was held at KINTEX, Gyeonggi-do Korea from June 1st to 4th.
Ishida exhibited total packaging solution in four separated areas, dry food, wet and frozen food, inspection system, and retail and laboratory scale system.
We would like to express our thanks for the visitors and hope that the show will strengthen business relationship between Ishida and customers in Korea.

Ishida Welcomes New President

Ishida is pleased to announce the appointment of Takahide Ishida as its new president. The new appointment was decided at the annual shareholders meeting and the meeting of the board of directors on May 19, 2010.
The previous president, Ryuichi Ishida, assumed the role in 1967 and has held the position for 42 years and 5 months. During this time, the company has expanded its operations from weighing machinery to a variety of fields including packaging, inspection, and display technology, while also promoting overseas expansion.
In 2007, Ryuichi Ishida announced his intention to hand over the reigns to the next generation at some time in the near future. This time has arrived, and the company is pleased to welcome Takahide Ishida as its new president.
